Ranjeet, it even tells you explicitly to use the chain rule. What more hints do you need? If you want someone to write a full solution you'll have to offer some rupees as a reward.

This is a high school level math question that is dressed up with useless shit like galileo transformstion and relativity

Dude just use Einstein's paper. He literally provides all the steps as this is literally what he did.

now do the same with air waves.

No, I'm preparing for a semester so I'm doing the challenge problems in university physics

[math] E(x+dx,t)-E(x,t) = E(x'+dx',t'+dt')-E(x,t) = E(x'+dx',t'+dt')-E(x',t'+dt')+E(x',t'+dt')-E(x,t) [/math]

[math] (E(x+dx,t)-E(x,t))/dx = dE(x,t)/dx = dE(x',t')*dx'/dx*(1/dx') + dE(x',t')*dt'/dx*(1/dt')' [/math]

x' = x - vt -> dx'/dx = 1 and dt'/dx = 0

[math] dE(x,t)/dx = dE(x',t')/dx' [/math]

Do the same for [math] (E(x+dx,t)-E(x,t))/dt, which results in dx'/dt = -v and dt'/dt = 1

[math] dE(x,t)/dt = dE(x',t')/dx' - v*dE(x',t')/dt' [/math]

You can repeat the above operation again to attain

[math] d^2E(x,t)/dt^2 = d^2E(x',t')/dt'^2 - 2v*d^2E(x',t')/dt'dx' + v^2*d^2E(x',t')/dx'^2 [/math]

[math] d^2E(x,t)/dx^2 = d^2E(x',t')/dx'^2 [/math]

Plug it all in to get:

[math] d^2E(x',t')/dx'^2-v^2/c^2*d^2E(x',t')/dx'^2+2v/c^2*d^2E(x',t')/dt'dx'-1/c^2 d^2E(x',t')/dt'^2 = 0 [/math]
