Suppose the following:

> r = (n/4 (+4 if n is odd, +8 if n/2 is odd))/4
> s = r/4
> t = (r/4 (+4 if r is odd, +8 if r/2 is odd))/4
> etc
What operation is this?

Is this floor division? You can't divide an odd number by an even number and get an integer.
