Is it really true that modern maths is incredibly Eurocentric, and many Indian mathematicians did not get the credit they deserve?
I am incredibly racist, but I think it's fair to give some kind of recognition to the mathematicians during India's Golden Age, who established the foundations of everything we know today.

I suppose you could make the same argument about any colonized people. We are beyond the point of mathematical discoveries being regionalized, however. There are a number of mathematicians from India who have been able to achieve acclaim. Ramanujan for example is one of the most famous mathematicians of all time.
