I dont get it. I was just looking up the Blacklist episodes and saw that a name was misspelled. I corrected it; a bot reverted the correction; I reverted the bot. All good. Then I was banned for talking shit to the bot. But my correction is still there, obviously, because I literally just saw how the name was spelled on Netflix a few hours ago. What the actual fuck is the problem with wikipedia?

Privatization, it's no longer about a commune of individuals constructing an encyclopedia of reality but a commune of select individuals propagandizing reality to drive their narrative. Sure, it might not have much of an effect on ricci tensors since eventually adding 2+2 together would tell you it's bullshit, but I imagine things like socioeconomical, and -political , events would be much easier to fabricate and propagandize since fact checking by the individual would be near impossible, especially with multiple sides telling different stories.
Remember, it's all about subversion, brainwashing and control, the internet is just coincidentally the perfect machine to drive the agenda, it's never been easier to bullshit people into believing what you want them to believe, just feed them some algorhitmically derived tiktok bullshit and they'll think transgenderism, outside genuine biological defects, is a real thing and not mental illness and deviant sexual fetishism.
As for your dilemma, I imagine the bot saw you as an "outsider", but the jannies caved in and let the typo fix slide, because it's not hard for anyone to look up the show, or episode name, and notice a typo.

So the minimum requirements for these reversions is that he is hits some button to confirm the change.
His history inclines me to believe that he would be automatically deploying changes at a minimum.
