It's one of those skinny asian ducks with one of those pieces with some skin and a bit of meat on a piece of bone. I felt like I swallowed the bone. Could be one of those rib part bones. I don't know if it's still there in the throat or I'm just feeling afterpain. Not extreme pain just mild discomfort to slight pain at certain positions. How do I know if it's still stuck in the throat? What do? Pic isn't it but related enough I guess, it was much skinnier duck.

When I'm cooking bones, I put them in the slow cooker for a long time and it makes them soft. Maybe you can hang out in a hot tub or sauna for a while lol
anyway how did you accidentally swallow a bone? how big was it?

It felt like one of those rib pieces but probably smaller. Can't say exactly how big, didn't see it just felt it. They mesh in with the meat sometimes and are stuck together, so it may be easy to not notice a piece of bone mixed in while chewing.

Very common in Asian countries. Don't worry.
Swallow a marshmallow or eat some rice, and that should get it down.
If it doesn't: Check where it is. If it's high up in the throat (i.e. might block breathing if you're unlucky), may be worth it to get it checked out and doctors should be able to remove it with some tongs or something. Happens all the time in China, doctors fix it in like 5 minutes.
If you swallow it, you should be fine. There's a less than 1% it may stab into your gut. If that happens, you'll feel extreme pain and you will know this has happened for sure. In that case, go to the hospital.
