Math is my greatest intellectual weakness. History is my aptitude and I’m also pretty good at philosophy, politics (outside of economics), and more basic types of science that don’t require a lot of math to understand but I just cannot do math. My brain just doesn’t work that way.

That's bullshit and you know it. Everyone is good at math, it's easy. Whenever I ask these people to name one specific thing problem in math they find hard to solve, they won't answer. Will you?

LMAO. There is a reason why Chat GPT is also good at that shit, while being awful at math and anything that relies in math.

The problem is that numbers are boring as shit. Math is purely abstract and made up but it's done so to model the real world. Math was not "discovered", geometry and trigonometry and every other field was invented to solve PHYSICS and physical problems.
You need to frequently be shown how every single subject you learn is important because it models some aspect of the real world. Even the most abstract high level math turns out to have real world applications.

Numbers aren't boring, they're boring to study pre-real world application.

"My brain just doesn't work that way" is largely a cope/excuse for laziness, math is a lot more straightforward than you might initially think

High incelligence is correlated with :
>Low birth rates
>Not having sex until a late age, if ever
>Being mocked for being a nerd
>Low social status
Lower incelligence is beneficial, high is a total negative. Einstein should have been lobotomized.

Einstein had 3 kids, is infamous for being an unfaithul womanizer, wasn't considered a nerd at the time and had very high social status. By your logic he was double digit IQ at most.

So you are good at low IQ fields but bad at high IQ fields, what is this supposed to indicate?

Math if you genuinely want to do it will challenge you to break out of this mold if you are forced to stick to a schedule by a class or whatever. I was always excellent at pure logic type of classes but struggled in math because I just wasn't making the necessary connections between what I was naturally good at and the content presented. It wasn't until I really started to try at math that I understood how I ought to be studying.

Math isn’t necessarily hard. It’s just the whole bit of holding onto a vast array of competing functions that makes it a bitch.
