I don't intend to imply doctors are useless, but a lot of simpler cases will eventually go to AI and automation. Still surgery and other complex diseases need human intervention.

t. haven't been to a doctor in over 2 decades regardless having a few illnesses and injuries. i had a shoulder problem that the greedy doctors would have told me required "tommy john" surgery, but it got better in about 6 months on its own with a little bit of stretching and exercise.
if doctors were necessary for survival then humanity would have died out in the era before doctors existed

I broke my arm a few years ago and I just set it myself and took tylenol for a few days kept my arm in a home made splint for a few weeks and it healed just fine. Theres nothing any doctor could've done to produce a better result.
