I always thought it's interesting that cells produce water from glucose through cellular respiration, yet it's not enough to satisfy the required intake for a lot of animals, including humans. The average adult human produces around 300 ml of water per day through cellular respiration. Always wondered if maybe the process could be improved to make water completely unnecessary, seems like a great adaptation.
