Is monogamy actually better than polygamy on the long run for humans specifically, given the fact that we're at the cusp of a biotech revolution? I mean, from the pov of disease or pandemic resistance, wouldn't monogamy increase the genepool's toolset to fight back as the genepool is diversified and will only continue getting more diverse as compared to polygamy that only increases homogenization of the genepool after each generation? Also, wouldn't there be a higher incidence of mutations in the genepool, either for the good or for the bad, which may accelerate our evolution thanks to the biotech tools we've or may have in the future that can help us to exploit such mutations?

A society is always matriarchal and never patriarchal. This is because in any society, 99% of men are disposable cucks happy to compete for women. In any society women control men. This is why Feminism is the only good thing happening from 200 years of democracy.
Feminism is good because it destroys the grotesque male narrative that men are the stronger sex. The truth is that women sit at the top of the sex market. Women are sex capitalists. It's women who organize the competition . It's men who compete for women and not women who compete for men. So they are right to be very strict about the rules. And since they are the queens, and 99% of men just live to provide for them, they have the luxury of rebuking any male quest they want and imposing on men various duties.
The even bigger picture is that Men never really managed to tame the female sexual cravings. Women cannot be contained in coats of conventions, the female sexual libido is too strong and too violent for this. A women is pure sexual energy. When she discovers this, when she peels off the phony social layers, she merges with her true whorish self and she will never ever be the same.
This is why all societies are flawed inherently. And it doesn't help that all men are eager to please women sexually and non-sexually. democracy is even worse.

Why is this even a debate? Polygamy is only practiced in demographically unstable, backward shitholes. It inherently destabilizes every society that practices it.

Thats a fair enough sociological argument with obvious biological implications. But I'm much more interested in the not so obvious genetics aspect of this debate. On one hand you've got the eugenics crowd claiming that Chads should just do all the breeding cuz good genes should increase in the genepool. They also claim that the genepool will always be sufficiently diverse and will always have sufficient amount of mutations to evolve. Then you've the incels on the other hand claiming that it's bad, sociologically and genetically.

The advantage of monogamy is that it imposes selection pressure on the women too.
This ultimately leads to better outcomes.

We need to increase the birthrate of women and restore polygamy. Make women 4-5 times more common so men have a choice of wives.
