Are ergonomic chairs really good for the body or is it just a market to milk money?

It is a grift because it's impossible to be ergonomic sitting at a desk upright for hours on end day in and day out. That's why "nerd neck" is so prevalent. That's a good way to get herniated neck discs, ankylosis, and occipital neuralgia. You're also a midwit for being unimaginative if the this is your limit.
Reclined desk is the only way to go for ergonomics. Altwork, Levus, Ergoquest and others for example. I am saving up for one.
Until then it's more ergonomic to just lay on the ground with a pillow and use a VR headset for your PC browsing. I feel great afterwards and lift weights. I don't watch porn on it either.
You're absolutely low IQ if you think an upright desk is peak form. I've always thought desks were stupid since I was a little kid and always imagined these sort of superior contraptions because it isn't comfortable. Even though I don't game anymore, it's literally the same reason console gaming was superior to PC gaming as a kid. Much better to sit back on a couch and relax than sit in a fucking chair upright.

If you're comfortable you don't feel like resting after you accomplish your studying. If your neck and back are strained you're going to lay down cause exhaustion. Also most people with desks I see munch at them all day.

Whatever be the chair, if you're sitting on it you'll put a load of pressure on your tail bone. Either stand up for some time or lie on a bed. I work from home from by bed sleeping

If a chair is comfortable - it's good for you. If it's not comfortable, it's not good for you. Ergonomic chairs tend to be more comfortable (excepts some obvious scams).
