What if they had contracts with the devil and sold their souls in exchange for power and immunity on Earth?

selling own soul to the devil is objectively evil act that should have also been punished by karma

Every orthodox religion and many heterodox ones have some notion of karma. Galatians 6:7.
It's hard to demonstrate from a secular perspective (ignore the "but Newton's Third Law!" midwits out there who always seem to find their way into discussions about karma). Maybe at best it can be argued probabilistically from social psychology.

what if that is the punishment? the loss of their soul? besides, how can you even punish that which has no soul? if it doesn't have a soul, like an object, there's not really any way to punish it in any meaningful way. similarly, one selling their soul is probably its own punishment - it leaves the person as a soulless husk of what should've been an individual, now no better than a tool that happens to look like a man

there is a threshold above which empathy becomes a superpower
I would guess there is a superpower at the other end of the scale as well.

Should be doing it now. Tripping up someone. It's not the easiest task cause I can't sense. But my dream last night is telling me to do this, and following what is healthy about it I've reached this move I'm doing now. Otherwise it's another move and I don't know what and can't sense or think-through.
