labchem here. what if I was to demonstrate a fully vetted thesis for why we will all need to be on insect protein by 2035, if we are going to make it as a species on earth? would this help grease the wheel and get more people on board?

Insect protein is fucking dumb. It's just a way of reducing food waste. Nah, what we really need is to eat bacteria instead. Knallgas bacteria can convert hydrogen, CO2, and some other stuff into protein. If solar panels are used to make the hydrogen, it probably beats agriculture in terms of sunlight to protein conversion efficiency. It blows bugs and onions out of the water.
