First of all social science is science (understand, jannies?) Secondly, according to social science which I cannot stress enough is a science, the patriarchy exists. This is indisputable and all social scientists agree it exists via scientific consensus. According to this patriarchy, females are subjugated as second class citizens and males are seen as the superior sex. As such, male penises are lauded while female anatomy is seen as taboo and must be covered. This is corroborated by Islam.

Again, jannies, this is obviously science and it is scientific consensus. Denying this is science denial and something only nazis do. This is supported by Nature's journal publications, which is the Paragon of scientific literature.

Probably an equality issue as some families couldn't afford to buy clothing specific to swimming. Might also been to prevent the pool from being filled with fabric debris and dyes from families that tried making their own swim wear out of existing clothes, which often were heavily soiled and worn out.
