Alert -The patient is fully awake and at their baseline level of cognition.
Confusion - The patient is awake but disorientated or confused (this must be new-onset or worse than their baseline level of confusion).
Verbal - The patient demonstrates some form of response when you talk to them (e.g. words, grunting, moving a limb).
Pain - The patient responds to a painful stimulus (e.g. supraorbital pressure).
Unresponsive - The patient does not respond to a painful stimulus.

That's not consciousness. Those are different states of responsiveness.

How do they cause it? Be specific. Don't hide behind vague synonyms for magic like "emergent". Propose an empirical experiment to reproduce consciousness in a lab setting.

Consciousness is a priori. It has no cause. The question is a categorical error. What causes time? What causes space? What causes causality? What causes logic? What causes mathematics?

This isn't a scientific answer.

It's an emergent property caused by a high-frequency looping between sensation and memory. New sensations are stored in memory, while older memories are turned into sensations, which are then stored as new memories, and so on. Consciousness is to this process what the hum is when you rub your wet finger around the lip of a glass.

An equivocation fallacy is a logical fallacy where the speaker intentionally mistakes the different meanings of the same word from different contexts and pretends they were the same.

I'm not OP and there is no evidence that OP has made this thread before. Apparently spending "every single day on this rotten image board" has caused a severe case of Fregoli delusion in your buckbroken mind.

Consciousness is an end-all be-all. It has no beginning or end. It is an omnipresent phenomenon that encapsulates everything in existance. Everything is consciously designed.

The key to figuring out how the brain produces consciousness is to compare what the brain is doing when you're asleep versus what it's doing when you're awake.

From ignorance as a requisite condition come fabrications.
From fabrications as a requisite condition comes consciousness.
From consciousness as a requisite condition comes name-&-form.
From name-&-form as a requisite condition come the six sense media.
From the six sense media as a requisite condition comes contact.
From contact as a requisite condition comes feeling.
From feeling as a requisite condition comes craving.
From craving as a requisite condition comes clinging/sustenance.
From clinging/sustenance as a requisite condition comes becoming.
From becoming as a requisite condition comes birth.
From birth as a requisite condition, then aging & death, sorrow, lamentation, pain, distress, & despair come into play. Such is the origination of this entire mass of stress & suffering.

"Now from the remainderless fading & cessation of that very ignorance comes the cessation of fabrications. From the cessation of fabrications comes the cessation of consciousness. From the cessation of consciousness comes the cessation of name-&-form. From the cessation of name-&-form comes the cessation of the six sense media. From the cessation of the six sense media comes the cessation of contact. From the cessation of contact comes the cessation of feeling. From the cessation of feeling comes the cessation of craving. From the cessation of craving comes the cessation of clinging/ sustenance. From the cessation of clinging/sustenance comes the cessation of becoming. From the cessation of becoming comes the cessation of birth. From the cessation of birth, then aging & death, sorrow, lamentation, pain, distress, & despair all cease. Such is the cessation of this entire mass of stress & suffering."

RNN is activation based, but in human, activation travels, in RNN it's just passed to next, in human brain it travels to attached dendride trough a diverged axon.

If you can chain this to RNN than congrats.
