Most of Ochem is just learning different types of reactions for highly specific scenarios. It's a pretty boring field I'm not gonna lie.

I started with David Klein's book, and I was able to learn it mostly on my own; the graphics were clear and descriptive.

you can't learn organic chemistry from a book
you have to grind in the lab with someone skilled watching you
