NASA is absurdly claiming that a round planet orbiting a round star in an elliptical orbit has it's highest average temperature shortly following aphelion, when radiation input from the sun is at it's weakest.
How low would your IQ need to be to believe that assertion?

For the guys that have been dubious on CO2 induced climate change so far (which was me until like last week), it turns out the reason temperatures haven't risen like they said they would was because all that coal and diesel was pumping sulfur into the air. The sulfur was reflecting sunlight and counteracting any warming. Two years ago they finally cleaned up the sulfur from all our fuels. Sulfur stays in the upper atmosphere for only two years. We're gonna start cooking. Anyway the envirotards will never admit that this is why it suddenly started getting hotter, because removing the sulfur was a policy they pushed for.

3% distance change makes so little difference this is almost certainly related to the fact tht when they say 'global temperature' they really mean 'most of the land and our sensors are in the northern hemisphere which is experiencing summer'.
angle of incidence changes are far more influential

thats a fake news political activist website, the fact that you can't find a legitimate source of information shows that your political activist website is lying. the fact that you needed to look it up shows that you don't care about endangered species at all, if you were legitimately concerned you'd have had the answer off the top of your head

So one every 10 year even if that were real, which it is not. A mass extinction event involves over a million animal species going extinct over a short period of time. One every 10 years would mean the period for a million extinctions would be 10 million years, which is not a short period of time.
The Permian-Triassic extinction lasted at most 200,000 years and many million species were driven to extinction during the period.

australia is literally a barren desert because of the sun in their summer, and south america only survives because it gets narrow

so you need at least 10 extinctions annually, but probably closer to 100, for an extinction event to be ongoing and we're currently seeing a rate of about 0.04 annually.
and why is it even bad if species go extinct? extinction is how evolution makes room for the better adapted species

When you're cooking meat in an oven and you take it out of the oven and let it sit, its temperature rises for a few minutes as it sits. Could this effect be related to Earth getting hotter after aphelion?
