does the existence of the boltzmann brain imply that we all will eventually come back to life, at the same time, after some astronomical number of years? and that it will, at some point, inevitably be torture? is pain inescapable even through death?

An another exact copy of your brain would not have your consciousness. It's a completely different person but with the same memories as you. It's not you though

How do you know though?

I don't see how it would be possible physiologically for a Boltzmann brain to form in a functional manner. Space is like 2 degrees above absolute zero

Boltzmann brain is retarded idea. If the formation of functionally complex object as brain was so spontaneous, we'd have shit load of them right now. Don't entertain these nonsense ideas.

the universe hasn't even existed for as long as it would take to develop one but that absolutely doesnt mean its nonsense
after all you cant disprove the theory

>after all you cant disprove the theory
The sign of a bad idea, and not a theory.
A theory is by definition falsifiable, but has data which supports it and none that directly refutes it.
If your idea is unfalsifiable it's not worth believing in, unless you admit it's simply an axiom and you have no reason to believe it.

very narrow minded thinking

Prove it. While you're at it, you can't disprove the idea that faeries are the cause of consciousness, which would disprove Boltzman because once the faeries die there'd be no more consciousness.
