All brains are equivalent because all brains are computers and can do all the same computations. This is the Church-Turing hypothesis. Von Neumann ain't shit

all the low hanging fruits have been picked.
there will never be another von Neumann.

To be fair his upbringing probably helped him think the way he did. It wasn't just him, Prague schools produced dozens of mathematicians almost as smart and they weren't all genetically from the same population either.
The real question should be why we never adopted the Prague model of teaching? Math and chemistry use the linguistic parts of the brain to become fluent in it, there is no reason most children shouldn't be able to absorb it using their language accusation abilities when very young. The kids in prague were being exposed to it before school age as being a chemist was seen as a guaranteed trade path to not being a peasant and as a result they ended up thinking in math as a language and fluidly understood concepts that those who acquire math as a second language have to translate.

That's not what Church-Turing is about, at all. CT doesn't claim anything about brains or about physics. CT is about arithmetic. It says that Turing machines are an adequate model to describe all of arithmetic.

Death truly is the ultimate comfort. Imagine if the best of humans ascended to godhood instead of dying or something like that. I'd be fuming.

That's like saying all computers are equal. No, in real life problems have to be solved in an acceptable amount of time. Also, a computer doesn't randomly forget or stop making progress, making soluble problems completely intractable Human variation is even more important

An hypothesis is just an assumption, anon, nothing more. Science is the study of reality, in which hypothesis are sometimes employed to prompt an experiment, but it is whatever can be proven, that which will remain as the truth.

All algorithms terminate in reality. There is no such thing as the halting problem. Computability theory is fake and gay

>Math and chemistry use the linguistic parts of the brain to become fluent in it,
Pretty sure it is mostly the spatial parts of the brain like the parietal lobe. The fact people with the highest spatial abilities also have the highest number of STEM qualifications (Up to the point were 45% of STEM PhD's are also in the top percent of spatial ability) should make this apparent.

Honey... maybe post someone besides redditneuman who actually made a contribution to the field (Ramujan for instance).
There's a reason the christard you posted had severe agita about being a loser in his field, and literally died from asscancer induced by the anxiety
