Is there anything I can study that would allow me to predict and understand the properties of any theoretical metal alloy without actually making it?

But you are not going to come up with anything no one hasnt done already. Theres thousands of alloys already, try to understand what exists already

Yes, you can get most properties out of DFT calculations, including whether the alloy is actually stable. I’m sure you could get a first approximation of mechanical properties out of MD software like LAMMPS with the right potential but it wouldn’t be great for optical/electrical properties that depend on quantum effects.
