Are you ambitious? Do you have too many trivial likes? Would you rather die sooner than later? what if you don't specialize in anything?

People are only ambitious if they want things. I have a family and tons of hobbies. There are so many fun things to do, things to learn, things to hope for, and family to meet and see, that it feels cruel to die before the age of 120.
Specialization is nice if you're legitimately gifted, like some T1 university researcher. Even if you're "only" a research professor at a lower ranked university, you're better off just enjoying life and not worrying too much about things even in your field, don't bother specializing, there are people way better than you already doing that, and maybe in your broad take in life you'll find something analogous to your field that will give you a eureka moment anyways. Make friends with the top dogs in your field and try to help them out, they're taking on a lot and are rarely appreciated due to their extreme 'tism.

>cops, criminal justice and criminology students rank below special ed students
So are we going to address that as a society or just let mentally disabled people hold a permit to commit violence and make important decisions about other people?

This isn't as thorough of an analysis it it deserves, and doesn't give due credit to those in higher positions in this system, who determined this to be an optimal distribution of human talent. Those with lower cognitive ability and temperament with higher predisposition to discipline are better suited for police work, compared to intellectually capable individuals with greater ability to abuse their position. Field officers are to execute their duties as directed and trained. Under the personnel distribution system I can only assume you desire, smarter people with a higher creative capacity for cruelty would fill the ranks of police offers and fuel their own subdivision of police criminal corruption currently subdued by the inability of police to plan and conspire to such a level.
But maybe you can express your opinion in greater detail and I could be convinced otherwise, I've heard your opinion quite often but I've never directly addressed it as I'm too much of a sperg to handle confrontation that isn't a measured controlled discussion or a fist and bite fight.

I feel like this is just magical thinking/compulsive conspiracy theory cope as an explanation for everthing
When in reality who does which jobs is 95% a result of what job people want to do and not an elite conspiracy by "THEM"
Cops become cops after they volunteer to a job interview end of story they wanted it
No one is forced to study astrophysics and no one is forced to become a cop, people chose and when you measure the people who chose one and the people who chose the other you observe differences

You may choose to become a cop, but those who choose to take higher positions in the justice system may have an opposing viewpoint as to what the justice system should look like at lower levels. You are at their mercy, the police offers you encounter in day to day life are simply a consequence.

this is if you are doing webshit.
what do you think computer are? a magic box? computers embody math. if you study computer science, you should have a very good understanding of mathematics. the most notable people in cs studied math before they became computer scientists e.g. donald knuth
