Unironically science is becoming problematic for certain political groups, most notably conservatism.
Man made climate change requires government intervention and will require people give up some of their comforts.
Tax cuts, reduced spending, deregulation, privatization, and free trade has failed to generate wealth, people can't afford basic food, housing and healthcare. Reaganomics ruined America and Brexit ruined Britain.
Culture wars are all conservatives have left, so they attack people's freedom to make their own choices about their sexuality. Like, who gives a shit if some dude cuts off his dick and wears a skirt? Why is someone else's penis so important to these people? They're just coming off as weirdos. Seriously, who gives a flying fuck what other people do? Why is it so important to them?
Vaccines work. Literally billions of people took the covid vaccine and millions of people didn't drop dead or wander the street not knowing who they are. Even when people got sick from the vaccine it was 10x safer than the virus it prevented because that's how vaccines work.
Denial of basic science is all they can do to prove their bad ideas are valid. So they come here and spread misinformation and try to pretend anyone against them is an NPC. It's the only way they can cope.

Case in point, if leftists were "muh science good" then what about biology? Sociology? crime statistics? Pharmaceutical evils to poison the human body?

I don't know, man. The first response in this thread shows how we ought to be with regard to what we are told to by scientists: obedient, unquestioning, and compliant.

Science is problematic for radical politics on either side to varying degrees based on the subject area. For example conservatives lost focus on reality when it comes to vaccinations, but leftists lost focus on biology, especially anything regarding trans ideology. Leftists do have an advantage in that they can sway the current science narratives - just look to how sex is being redefined in biology away from gametes and more towards vague gender concepts. There's a difference between actual science and The Science.
Leftists also have huge blind spots on climate change, talk to any leftist about geo-engineering as a solution or nuclear power and they freak out in the same way conservatives do over vaccinations. Oh yeah leftists also have a weird delusional reality whenever they speak about AI too

Nobody hates science, by which I assume most mean "true science" or pursuit of knowledge. It's the scientism, kikes pressuring goys into agreeing with obvious lies, NASA and moonlanding/space adventure hoaxes and overall pozzing of the entire scientific field that people hate. There are entire disciplines that are pretty much a larp which has no common ground with reality out there, that's how bad it has gotten.

I have met very few people are "antivax" in the sense that they think vaccines don't work or a conspiracy or w/e. People who raised the alarm on how SOME vaccines are dangerous, or how taking 100 fucking vaccines before you are even 6 months old or w/e is dangerous have been purposefully strawmanned and misrepresented. People who are completely against all vaccines are generally fringe nutters or religious zealots like amish and the likes. As an interesting aside the Amish never see to suffer any majopr outbreaks of the things the mainstream are vaccinated against, and they are still here just like the rest of us (only with no polio,no trannies, less autism, cancer, allergies and diabetes). Funny that

Unironically science is becoming problematic for certain political groups, most notably liberalism.
Man made climate change has failed every objective test of validity that can be independently verified. Admitting that it's a fraud requires liberals to give up some of their power and control.
Socialism, the welfare state, immigration, globalization, and overregulation have failed to provide a utopia, and people can't afford basic food, housing and fuel. Bidenomics ruined America and leftist ruined Europe.
Cancel culture is all liberals have left, so they attack people's freedom to defend themselves, speak their views, or make their own financial decision. Like, who gives a shit if some dude doesn't want to buy insurance? Why is someone else's healthcare choices so important to these people? They're just coming off as dictators. Seriously, who gives a flying fuck what other people think or say on Twitter? Why is it so important to them?
Capitalism works. Literally billions of people have gotten wealthy through hard work and innovation in the free market and capitalism didn't drop dead like the communists endlessly predicted. Even when lazy people don't make much money, capitalism is 10x better than the alternative because communism has killed hundreds of millions of people, far more than the Nazis did.
Denial of basic science is all they can do to prove their bad ideas are valid. So they come here and spread misinformation about gender being different from sex and try to pretend anyone against them is a racist. It's the only way they can cope.
