Why are extra dimensions such an effective midwit filter? It seems midwits cannot entertain the thought of extra dimensions. They cannot visualize more than 3 dimensions + time.

because three dimensions plus time is what they normally observe.

>duh.

Its just another epicycle. Another hidden variable. Dark variable. Another planet X. Another invisible radiation.

We usually don't observe atoms or electrons either, yet the midwits seem to have no problem with the idea that matter is made up of particles.

uh? bro do you even underdtand what vizualise means? It literally means use your vision

this nigga thinks he sees in 5 dimensions LMAO

because atoms and electrons are like little balls (or waves, depending on the season) and you have seen macroscopic versions of both of those things

No one can visualise them. It's not possible. You can understand them, but you can't visualise them.

Time is not a dimension.

There are three dimensions.

I thought the biggest filter was simply recursion?

Anonymous No. 16372488

>>16372484
In order to understand recursion you must first understand recursion.

Dimensions are whatever you choose to compare to something else.

Biblically accurate angel pictures are angels reaching from higher dimensions into ours. Which is why they looked so wild.

Extra dimensions are just a place to store information. Like how a 2d torque problem stores the rotation force in a direction normal to the plane it exists on. The 3rd dimension in such a problem simply stores information about rotational magnitude and direction.
