Plants use it because it's a simple way of stopping leaves and other shit from growing on top of each other and blocking each other. The stuff about human anatomy following the golden ratio or whatever is schizo bullshit and numerology as far as I know. I don't know what you're referring to with the computer stuff, but computers use all kinds of math so it wouldn't be surprising for them to use the Fibonacci sequence somewhere.
