Because although college is a scam, society punishes you for not having a degree. Plus, I'm using a veteran's program where I actually get paid to go to school. Plus the degree I'm getting aligns with jobs that I already have, so I'm hoping once I get the degree, I'll just pivot to a new position within these agencies, or best case scenario, pivot to a new agency. The only thing I have to lose is time. But still, these math classes fucking set you up to fail. This is my second college that I've been to and every college math teach I've EVER had speaks in broken English.

Math has only been around since the Arabic middle ages. That's why humans haven't evolved to know it yet, which in turn is why everyone fails math classes except for 7 percent of the world. Therefore they should just leave us alone instead of mentally torturing us like this.

Yes. I write flash cards, including for parts of the problem. I study university math.
Take the simplest problem you understand, and make a card or two about it.
Then take the immediately a bit more difficult problem you don't quite understand yet and make cards about it.
Like if you don't get that giant complicated expression, do you at least understand how
3*(6x - 8)
is distributed?
