Plate tectonics is the newer, superior and much better-evidenced theory which replaced the older outdated Expanding Earth theory. Not the other way around.
Among other things, paleomagnetic data has shown that the earth was the same size as today 400 million years ago

This is a science board, not a religion/dogmatic beliefs and superstitions board

Expanding Earth theory has no plausible and verifiable mechanism of action.

I never understood how these people imagine that a rigid continent shaped to fit a smaller sphere will fit a larger one. either continents should form huge domes by now or there should be characteristic cracks all over the place as the periphery is stretched.

According to whom? Could it be only your own subjective opinion and the opinion of others who share the same religious opinion?
>verifiable mechanism of action
But it can't be verified because of the nature of what is being dogmatically proclaimed in the first place.
Following your point of view that it can be verified shows that OP's pic verifies that your theory is wrong and his is right (not something I necessarily agree with either for the same reason that your religious opinion canot be verified)

The theory has zero successful predictions to it's name. It's trash just like the ice age

What? Haven't they found frozen woolly mammoths and stuff? Why were they woolly, if there was no ice age?

Neither did plate techtonics when it was accepted. The evidence for it then, just like the evidence now for expanding earth, is overwhelming. This lead to a search to figure out the mechanism, instead of just rejecting it out of hand like a petulant child.
Yeah, dark matter is real with ZERO valid explanatory mechanisms known, but there's just no way the earth could be expanding. Whatever you say

All mammals used to be bigger because Earth's gravity was lower when the planet was smaller.

Earth absorbs ether. This is the real mechanism for gravity, not relativity.

and how did the planet somehow change 'weight' enough over merely 10,000 years to cause all mammoths to get extinct? And why did the last mammoth pocket only go extinct when humans had access to their habitats?
they were hunted to extinction, you inbred retard.
