How is everything not science if there’s science to everything in theory?

How is metaphysics not just another form of physics? The physics of the beyond.

Blind posturing is retarded, and you're retarding for thinking anything like it is scientific

So an alien UFO isn’t science because we don’t know how it works? It’s magic, but it’s still science to the alien.

>It's not magic.
Of course it is. “How did you do that? How does that work?” That’s magic. Pulling a white rabbit out of a black hat. Indistinguishable from religion, too. “How does the sky turn black and then blue?” “I don’t know, it must be the gods!”. “What about the sun?” “It’s a giant dung beetle rolling a giant fiery ball across the starry plains!” There is no bigger magician than the universe. Ignorance outnumbers the truth—you can interpret anything in any way you want; the imagination is scary.

You implied it. Just because we can’t poke at something, doesn’t mean the science isn’t there, lying in wait, for all time. The “music of the spheres” as Einstein put it. Nature runs, it has actual processes, and if it/anything works, it is/has science to it.

Meaningless term, then. Useless as you are, fag.

See above.
If you go by the definitions that people use rather than making up your own to win internet arguments, you're simply wrong.

Anything can be magic, yes. It’s just a word for wonder, mystery, etc. Literally everything in nature out there was at one point considered or seen as magic. Even math—all the way from Pythagoras to Sir Isaac Newton—was magic at one point. There is nothing simpler than math. If that can be seen as magic, why not literally anything else?

Magic lies within the mind’s eye. It is what you make of it. Drop a candy bar wrapper in the past, and it’s magic—“any sufficiently advanced garbage is indistinguishable from magic” is a funny twist on the “any sufficiently advanced tech/science is indistinguishable from magic” saying by Clarke.

Even famous fantasy authors like Tolkien knew this, and his elves don’t believe in (elven) magic, it’s all just Art to them, the same way everything in the 21st century is art-ificial (artificial, artifice, etc, come from art), and taken for granted. All elves are quite used to what they do. The black machinery of Mordor is also seen as “black magic”. The wizards aren’t wizards back home in Valinor—their role is to act and look like wizards to lesser lifeforms, like some guiding alien sage. The elves look to the Maia/wizards the same way men and hobbits look to the elves. Their (the elves’) bar for magic is simply higher than it is for men and hobbits. Dwarves are somewhere in between.

Magic is an angle. A bar. Science is just one half/side of that same coin. There is information you have—science—and then there is information you don’t have—magic—but often what is magic to one is not going to be magic to another. Often times, the humble and capital-w Wizard is not going to see their wonders as magic.

It all meets in the end.

Science deals purely in prediction, specifically predicting incoming experiences based on current experiences and isolating those patterns that are reproducible.
Metaphysics on the other hand deals in the interpretation of all experiences; reproducible or not.

That’s sad. Religion isn’t supposed to be true. That defeats the whole point of faith and belief. The entire purpose.

There’s a very old Jewish joke, about two Rabbis who argued over the course of a night, and in the morning agreed that no God actually exists. That same morning, they were still seen going to their nearby Synagogue—“what does His existence have to do with it?”.

Religion is a narrative. A story. Something you model and guide your life by. It’s not supposed to be true, very much the same way magic isn’t supposed to exist, or how cold, darkness, and holes aren’t meant to exist. It’s an absence. An absent, relative existence.

This is why psychology is so powerful. As you don’t need mind control powers to go and mind control people.

Scientists today have lost their sense of wonder/magic. They don’t even know the meaning of philosophy. Or how science is itself a descendant of it.

What does the physicist say when they’re confronting something new/weird? “Hmm. That’s weird… I wonder how that works.”

Does that not sound familiar at all?

Are you sure, you are on side of this battle you wish to be on? Because we all could instantly switch properties like that. You just need keys to timetraveling. But somehow there's a way we don't always do that.

I'm starting to question that terminating your existence could make us live in brighter future.
