Dumb speculation thread. And settling an argument.
What would happen if you detonated a nuke (any yield really, but let's say 15kt) at the bottom of the Kola super hole (12262 meters)?
Underground detonation of nukes is nothing new, but none have been as deep as that. The deepest nuke ever detonated was at 2850 meters deep, at 2.5kt in 1985 by those crazy russians.

There's no geology board, but this will do.
