when did you realize STEM degrees are a massive scam and that you should have gone to med school or a top tier business school instead depending on your strengths?

math, physics, and engineering degrees are much more altruistic and noble than business or med school
Anonymous at Tue, 17 Sep 2024 00:37:11 UTC No. 16383991
Engineering into med school is not uncommon. It is hard to make the necessary GPA for med school, but engineering degrees like biomedical can cover all of the premed requirements and are a much better backup that chemistry or something.

all doctors do nowadays are give middle aged people pill with fentanyl and16 year old anti-depression pills instead of telling them to stop watching porn, eat meat, workout, follow Christ, and learn a martial arts. The doctors in the 1900s that injected themselves with their own vaccines were noble, not the modern day ones

I am a doctor though. Just not the kind you actually want treating sick people, unless they're sick of non-rigorous mathematical arguments.

> business school
Unless you are retarded you will be incapable of passing a business degree. I had to take a single business module in my engineering degree and I failed that module because its incomprehensible gibberish that only low IQ people can understand.

Truly high IQs don't do engineering. That's why engineering school has the reputation it has, because only low IQs that shouldn't be there in the first place flood in the admissions, and their testimonies are what you hear. Real intellectual rigor doesn't come out of engineering.

hard to get into, undergrad in it is utterly useless, terrible work conditions where you are routinely undermined and undervalued by management that fundamentally resents your paycheck existing because it doesn't actively produce profit. Cybersecurity fucking sucks.
