Endorsements are so weird. Are there really people who have so little ability to look at the candidates and pick one that they have to outsource that to some other entity? And of those, how many need a pop science magazine to decide for them? Most union guys I know completely ignore the endorsements their union puts out but readers of Scientific American really let the magazine decide for them?

Banana Bread Recipe
This recipe yields a moist and delicious banana bread with a lovely texture and flavor. You can customize it by adding nuts, chocolate chips, or spices to your liking.
Ingredients:
2 cups mashed very ripe bananas (about 4 large bananas)
½ cup cane sugar or brown sugar
½ cup melted butter or vegetable oil
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1½ cups all-purpose flour (spooned and leveled)
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon sea salt
½ teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x4 or 9x5-inch loaf pan and set aside.
Whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a medium bowl.
In a large bowl, whisk together the mashed bananas, sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined. Don’t overmix. Fold in the chopped walnuts, if using.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. If the top is golden brown, cover with foil for the remaining bake time to prevent further browning.
Let the bread cool in the pan for 20 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Tips:
Use very ripe bananas for the best flavor and texture.
Don’t overmix the batter, as this can lead to a dense bread.
If using nuts, toast them lightly in a skillet before chopping to enhance their flavor.
This recipe makes one large loaf. You can also divide the batter into two smaller loaf pans for a more manageable size.

Now for <ISSUE> insert border security, foreign wars, exporting american jobs, energy independence and fuel prices, economic success for people who aren't illegal aliens, hatred of Dick Cheney, etc.
Also from a conservative perspective is abortion, where Trump finally actually succeeded in overturning RvW after Bush/Bush/Reagan only pretended they were ever going to do something about it. Though on that one lefties were always more concerned about preserving their ability to whore around without having to be bothered with condoms or birth control pills.

I appreciate your response, I have some followups.
Biden was a bad choice, I agree. Most people that voted for him were really voting for anyone but Trump, which is sad. That being said, he did very little that impacted me either. With partisan gridlock being what it has been all of my life for decades, he did almost nothing that did anything for or against me on my local level. Anything happening to me is happening globally, I don't feel a need to get mad about it.
Are we not energy independent right now? Who are we relying on for energy production? When was the last time we were considered energy dependent in that case too?
Foreign wars though, I think that's a good one and a credit he's not given enough on. Although, once again I think his own ego mucks that up. Could have set up the withdrawal actually, you know, GOOD. But then Biden should have just said "fuck it I'll do it my way" instead of pretending his hands were tied. They both decided to fuck each other out of spite, and that only hurts regular Americans.
Are illegal aliens considered "economically successfully"? Because I don't see any evidence of that.
I've never cared about abortion. I'd rather we had more of it. But I suppose I'm considered an antinatalist.

It's probably a low overhead property. Lots of these older magazines long ago became essentially bankrupt, no longer able to support the production of quality content from competent authors with the income in an Internet first world. The names were sold off and then licensed out to whoever was willing to wear the skin suit of the old publication. This is how magazines like 'Sports Illustrated' came to have all manner of monstrosities dressed up in bikinis on the cover. The people who build SI and SA into the well regarded magazines they once were are long gone. Now they're brands to exploit residual confidence in the names. Given the ultralow overhead, they might still squeeze out a small profit but more likely they run at a loss but that's ok since their mission is spreading an ideological message. They're basically a fancy form of the political fliers you get in the mail.
