🧵 EMPs

Anonymous No. 16417726

Do all EMPs electromagnetic waves, or are there EMPs that emit just an electric field?

child, try actually learning about basic science instead of being perpetually ignorant about the world around you until you die

since i doubt you have the mental faculties to do that, i'll give you a hint: your question is painfully stupid

Yes this is round about how these minds work beyond your order. Which explains something about readiness.

An EMP device will only be powerful if it produces large amounts of high energy photons which in turn ionize matter. The free electrons induce current in other devices when they spiral along magnetic field lines. This can be done with a micronuclear blast that could be as small as 10 tons TNT equivalent.

Don't want to read that. I don't know why asking if something is just a filed or a self propagating wave always causes so much seethe.

Yes but sometimes "photons" (kek) travel as a simple field, like in the case of a magnetic or static attraction. Sometimes they travel as a wave and have a wavelength, period, polarization, etc, which they never have while traveling as non self propagating fields aka waves. The question is are all EMPs waves or are there some that are only fields.

perhaps you should learn what the letters in EMP stand for. the answer is there twice over.

The photons are not the EMP itself. They are a means to creating charged particles that move at relativistic speeds which will produce varying electric and magnetic fields.

There is the hardware of the frying device. Then there is the hardware of the targeted device. The frying device will generate an electric field, magnetic field, or both. The target device's circuits will surge due to energy from an electric field, magnetic field, or both.

The question is, does electro magnetic energy move from the fryer to the target by of a self propagating electro magnetic wave. Or does it move by way of only electric or magnetic fields.

please never try to explain anything about science to anyone ever again

If you remove the magnetic field from Maxwell’s equations, you get Newtonian gravity with the sign flipped. It has no time component, so there is no wave or pulse to speak of.

mouthbreathers still think electromagnetic induction is some sort of sorcery
also, as soon as i see "scalar" and "vector" used in the way like in your diagram, it reeks of pseud bullshit
