how much TNT (since that is how we measure explosviveness and shit) would V have had to use to blow up the whole parliament like in the final scene?
Also how much gunpowder did Fawkes bring? I havent found any good answers yet

One cubic ton was gunpowder was used for the original plot. This was twice the amount necessary. Fawkes was an expert in production of gunpowder and used twice as much as necessary since some of it had been degraded. This equaled thirty-six barrels.
The modern houses of Parliament are mostly different buildings than what existed back when Fawkes tried to blow up the House of Lords so we really can't use that plot as a base for figuring out what would have been needed for V to blow up the current buildings, especially so thoroughly.
