According to a new government report 27.21% of all 2024 National Science Foundation grants (up to April 4) were given to proposals focused on promoting race or gender ideology and other lefty shit, an increase of over 9000% from 2021.

Far more than 73% of academia is white adjacent. There needs to be more BIPOC hired now. There isn't much we can do about the currently tenured academics but there should at least be hiring freeze on new white adjacent candidates for tenure track positions, regardless of which gender they identify as.

The government is wasting money on women and minorities instead of spending it on scientific research, which is what the NSF is supposed to do. It's not unreasonable to criticize this.
