Alright /sci/, I know global warming is bullshit, but I want the scientific explanation for why. I've seen explanations of how studies have been skewed, but I don't remember the exact details, so pointing me in the direction of resources of information could greatly help.

You don't even get a (You) for this. You're A) wrong and B) retarded. The greenhouse effect has been observed for about 140 years at this point.
Check yourself before you wreck yourself next time.

It's not our job to prove a negative. It's up to the "man made climate change" folks (admit this is what you actually meant when you chose the more tepid phrase) to prove their hypothesis is correct. When they present what they claim to be evidence, that "evidence" is subject to scrutiny and cannot simple declared to be the truth because "that's the science". It is up to those presenting the evidence to prove the correctness and relevance of the claimed evidence.
My guess is that you're bored and attention seeking, getting some kind of tiny bit of self worth from seeing replies to your post and you have zero actual interest in the topic at all. If that's the case, seek therapy as your current behavior isn't going to be healthy for you in the long run.

Yeah this is more or less what I actually meant, but also other aspects of the global warming psyop, like the rising sea level.

You're really shit at guessing. But thank you for the good explanation on the science. I am stoned and retarded but I will think on this for a while.

Government not letting a crisis go to waste is not evidence for the absence of a crisis.

Is there valid evidence for the crisis? I think if you've been alive long enough to hear Al Gore then you would know that none of these doomsday climate predictions have come true. Absolutely zero. I remember going to a museum as a kid and there was a clock that said we would all be without an ozone layer and have run out of fossil fuels by now. I think you have to have somewhere around low to average intelligence to just believe in this shit because the media says so. That is the entire antithesis of the scientific method, which calls for personal experimentation and direct observation.

The biosphere was able to absorb more CO2 than expected, and sulfur in fossil fuels blocked more sunlight than expected. We successfully removed the sulfur a couple years back, and it's recently totally precipitated out of the atmosphere. Add India and China rapidly growing, and everything the environmentalists promised is coming true. Notice the prevalence of 500 year storms/floods this year? That'll continue until we do something. Unfortunately it's either environmentalists who insist on a complete cessation of life giving energy production, or denialists. You're nooticing in the wrong direction

Here you go champ. Irrefutable proof that humans have caused the change in atmospheric carbon dioxide by burning fossil fuels. That's why the fraction of carbon 13 drops proportionally to the increase in carbon dioxide.

Honestly, no. Everything is pretty much the same as it always was where I live. Are there any measurements that I can make, over the course of a year or several years, to objectively prove to myself that we are in some sort of apocalyptic-tier crisis? I'm a nuts and bolts kind-of guy, maybe I just don't see and the bigger picture and I just don't have the knowledge. I didn't go to college. If you have any recommendations as for research journals, books, documentaries, etc. I'm all ears.

Hm. Statements are at odds. Not arguing in good faith. Good luck and good bye

A graph without reference is meaningless trash. The data is interpreted any possible away. Suppose it was forged. Suppose it was published by a group that makes a bunch of money spreading climate hysteria.
It also doesn't support the global alarmist agenda as it doesn't demonstrate a link between CO2 and warming.
This half-thought approach is not a good look.

I wasn't even arguing in that post, I just asked for information, lmfao.

Wow hot option
What's the greatest contributor to green house? Water vapour. Are humans pumping water vapour in the atmosphere hmmm
