Seriously, if we simply prevent bald people from reproducing we could eliminate the gene.

I dont understand the idea of wanting kids to have better genes than yours. The whole point is for you to reproduce these same genes. If you want to replace them just use artificial insemination or IVF.
And if you really want to spread your male genes, just jack off your father and use his sperm to inseminate a tall woman. That way your lineage will live on, technically.

That's essentially what some of the Scandinavian countries are. We can also breed small humans, as seen with pygmies. Both come with benefits and downsides so in general human populations only move to these extremes when there's an environmental reason to do so.
>Well, that's what women like
It varies by culture but lanklets generally aren't seen as attractive. In the west, most women would like a man who is 6' - 6'2", but even that depends somewhat on her own height. Very few women, even tall ones, are interested in a man who is 7' tall.

Humans are going to be genetically modified to make men small and women tall in a few years

Read Jim Vieira's research into the history and records of real giants, there were thousands of gigantic skeletons dug up over the past centuries.

Other than the ethical problems I'd say pic related is the biggest hurdle.

I mean, it's somehow Okey these days as long as women are in charge of it in the shape of sexual selection (6 feet, 6 inch, 6 figure, 6 pack, all min recommended settings btw). The problem is now how do we stop the few uggos/midgets that get laid from reproducing

The giant horses have much shorter lifespans than the tiny ones.
Horses in general are a mess in terms of health problems and probably shouldn't be used for the basis for human breeding programs, anyway.

We're kind've doing that already, human heights have been growing for millenia and while part of that is due to access to nutrition a lot of it is mate selection, women like tall men.

A miniature horse will live 35 while something like a Clydesdale will live around 20, on average. That's in modern times with modern veterinary medicine, without it the average horse lifespan is more like 10-15.

I find it hard to believe that no government anywhere has had secret breeding programs and perhaps even secret truman-show esque villages entire cut off from the rest of the world where broods of superhumans are raised.

What so you are going to make a law that men can't breed until they make it to 50 with a full head of hair?
