Can't you get most of that stuff for free online? Or is this college reading material?
You will always be dumb, that is ok.

Why would buying textbooks make you feel less dumb? Feeling dumb is about relative comparison.
Working through introductory textbooks about advanced topics opens your eyes to how unbelievably difficult most of this shit is (whether the texts be math, physics, engineering, theoretical statistics etc.). That's going to make you feel dumb until you slowly become competent at the material contained in them.

Each one of those books costs around $70-$100 dollars, so that is much more than $500. I don't believe you paid for them, they are probably from some theory group's library.

Yes anon, you have to actually READ the books you buy
Also side note, based on how retarded you obviously are, it's clear that you bought books that sound intelligent with words like quantum physics and string theory, rather than buying actually useful books.
Go buy a basic algebra book, and actually read it

Tbh, in the US it happens more than you'd believe too, we're just not as allowed to be open about it. Libgen and sci-hub make it possible to do research at a public school. Without them, most of us would be fucked if we could only use whatever our libraries subscribed to.

100% of academics pirate papers and books. Even the best universities don't have institutional access to every single publication

I'm only attending a community college, but it blows my mind how many of these retards go out and buy the required textbooks instead of pirating them, and then bitch about how poor they are or how expensive college is. Most of the time we only use the textbooks to read excerpts from them; we only use them on a handful of occasions. The only time it's absolutely necessary to have your own copy is when a professors force their own spiral-bound textbook onto you, or are massive faggots about muh "academic honesty" and insist that you bring in a hard copy.
What's especially retarded is when someone signs up for a course only to drop it a few weeks down the line--usually after the first exam or midterm. One such example would be niggas spending $350 (tree fiddy) for a copy of that faggot-ass Stewart's book only to drop it, or forgo buying the book but still paying out the ass for access to WebAssign.
It's kinda amusing when one of the little Zoomer niggas shares the link to the textbook with the other normalfags and they act like it's some kind of super sekrit esoteric knowledge.
