Depends how long this current iteration of civilization lasts.

Your overlords have very little interest in improving your life in any way that doesn't benefit them. They want you to be enslaved and dependent on the current system. The technology already exists to breed 200 IQ humans and it could be implemented at scale tomorrow, but our overlords would never do that because the first thing hyperintelligent people would do is overthrow them.
