Intervening in complex systems such as an ecosystem, an economy, a living organism.

Is there a complex system science that tells us how this should be done successfully?

I study math at uni and after I graduate I could especialize in something like that because I hate psych doctors who interfere in the brain's functioning wrongly and do harm to their patients.
