Hello /sci/entists I have a question for you that I could not find on google with a little search

Aliens kidnap you and teleport you to Kepler1606b like 3000 lightyears away.
They also give you a pair of binoculars that can accurately see all the way to earth, either because they cleared all the rubble with their magic lazers or because the binoculars can see through them using alien tech

If it takes light 3000 years to travel that far then what would you see using the binoculars and aiming at earth.
Is this hypothetical completely impossible?
Would you immediately see the Earth even though light would take time to reach earth?
Would you get a view into 3000 years ago?
