What's the thing that surrounds the universe that existed before the big bang?

The universe may be infinite or may curve in on itself, such that there is nothing outside of it or surrounding it.
Time itself may have began with the big bang, such that there was no "before it"
Or if there was something before it, it was another universe collapsing and shrinking into a singularity in a Big Crunch scenario

The big bang is fake jew science to attack the faith of Christians so they can push LGBT faggotry and voodoo science which sterilizes kids for life using the same drugs they give convicted pedophiles to sterilize them.

It's literally scientifically impossible and violates all the laws of science, but they go on teaching their gay creation myth of atheism/humanism/communism.

And pushing LGBTism on kids is about making life-long left-wing voters and life-long pharma patients.

>literally scientifically impossible and violates all the laws of science
No it doesn't.
It's analogous to watching a tape of a balloon somewhere midway through expanding, and simply playing the tape backwards and seeing that it must have started from an empty balloon.
It's not trying to answer/explain where the empty balloon came from.

Everything said to be known about the universe beyond what we can verifiably prove with evidence is worth as much as my used toilet paper.
But,

Assuming any of the most common stuff is real, apply logic to it and ask some questions. For example,
>the big bang is real
If the big bang is possible at all, there should be more.

But 13+ billion light years supposedly, the scale of it all makes any claim impossible to prove.
What if we're so small relative to the entire structure of reality that what we consider the universe is just the equivalent of a star? This big bang thing is nothing but the nova of some massive energy structure?

The scale is so large it's impossible to verify or answer. We can never know, ever. No matter what the accepted evidence can be claimed as, nobody knows what the true scale of reality is and never will.

Christian here
Big Bang was literally theorized by a catholic priest you massive faggot. Nothing about the big bang refutes Christianity and if you think it's a serious threat to our faith then you are genuinely retarded.

this is actually the latest in cosmology I think. it's about the philosophy of mathematics and how to treat infinity.

If I understood PBS spacetime correctly it seems like it can be possible for something to exist beyond a point where a parameter blows up to infinity, but our ability to track events through that point in that parameter becomes impossible

Everything from our universe came from that point but there isn't necessarily any reason to believe that the singularity we trace back to was the entire bang. It could have been much larger- a thing that has been going on big-banging for eternity, and where inflation reaches beyond the speed of light in the very early universe, we can't see past so we don't know if there is something past it.

It turns out you might also be able to have an object in stable orbit inside the event horizon in a black hole for similar reasons. We just wouldn't be able to track that object from the outside because there is no causal connection between the object and the outside.
