Are soaps bad for the human body?

not all soaps even contain soap. the short answer is yes, in a lot of cases. some of the surfactants themselves can have harmful effects and they are loaded with other additives, especially liquid soap. maybe it would actually be better to use additive free real soap (not ph skin neutral!) and rinse it off well with water and then CO2-water or even diluted acetic acid, instead of organosulfates with additives that are hard to wash off. free fatty acids are a natural constitutent of sebum and have mild antibacterial properties

Very unlikely.
Most people don't realize how common soaps are in nature. Any time an alkali combines with a non-petroleum oil, you get soap. There are many plants that literally produce soaps naturally. We have been exposed to all this for eons.
I would say that the dangers of modern soaps (if any) are posed by other additives.
