Is anyone else skeptical about the theories relating to hominids, I don't think that they literally evolved in like some straight line, from one to the other, I also don't believe for sure that they looked so much like monkeys

Anonymous No. 16442323

They were lizards, directly traceable by the human lips. All this talk about IQ pattern recognition but no-one has yet noticed the lizard lips.

I could see amphibians but lizards!!??

Well they're similar. It was a 2 legged amphibian/lizard-kin. Large. Not these small creeping lizard. As big as an ape. Lived in the trees.

Apes evolve into a different but close relative to humans.

Humans would be -1 on a scale of -4 to +4 and monkeys are +1 in the N category.

I believe we are mammals though, how would you change species?

There's lots of hallmarks of a big lizard on humans. Scaly skin. Lipid lips. Clipped eye lids. Etc.

We'll settle at a common fungal lizard.

Schwarzenegger No. 16442334

>>16442332
Yeah right we evolved from the dinosaurs and turned into mammals by mere chance or through "evolution" we turned WARM BLOODED, skin became soft non scaly, and we turned into a whole other species

How did the leap from known hominids to homo sapien take place? There's obviously some kind of gap between them, physically and mentally.

Schwarzenegger No. 16442347

On a side note, why are so many photos that have from recreations of hominids look kind of spooky or scary a lot of them are in really dim lighting it's weird there's nothing really harmful about looking at them is there?

Here is a question for the thread:
What skin, hair and eye colors did Neanderthals have?

True humans were created by God.
Lesser beings are the offspring of chimps and demons, and therefore cursed by sin. True humans had compassion for the cursed ones and showed them the ways of civilization, but the cursed ones couldn't leave behind their evil ways.

After 3-5 million years humans went from animals to flying space ships....but the other Great Apes still haven't figured out stone tools or a spoken language. How does that make sense? Spoiler, it doesn't.

Hominids display levels and speed of 'evolution' never seen before in any animal on Earth. Great Apes seems to be stagnated in their evolutionary positions like the alligator or the might shark. Peak evolution forms we are told, no need to evolve further....yet here humans are....why did we need to evolve so far so fast that here we are typing on anime message boards while our Ape cousins still fling poop as a major pass time.

No one can refute or explain this paradox. No it was not environmental factors that caused us to evolve because we have a hominid control group to disprove this. The African Nigger, the most basic and limited form of the hominid. It never left Africa and lived alongside it's Great Ape cousins yet still the nigger man made spears, clothes, learned to dance, and built mud huts to protect from rain and lions.

It's been 5 million years and Chimps haven't done shit, make it make sense.

Not really

Humans are not more advanced than chimps
>it’s been five million years and humans haven’t learned to swing from tree tops or survive on diets of entirely fruit. How does evolution explain this?
That’s what you sound like

Ah, but basedence says that white skin only evolved 9000 years ago.
Are you saying it evolved separately in Neanderthals and modern humans?
Do you have any evidence for that?

There was a lot of intermixing. It's probably not a perfect tree. Wave model describes it better.

If you were catapulted far back through time and the only humans around were hairy, chinless, archaic erectoids like in OP's picture, would you breed them in order to spread your superior genes and advance the human species?

The Irish are the direct descendants of Neanderthals. Violent, alcoholic, pale skinned gingers.

also out-of-africa is overcomplicated nonsense
a simpler model has a migration into eurasia, evolution of the ancestors of archaic humans in eurasia, a migration back into africa, then a final migration into eurasia
i.e. 2 migrations into eurasia, 1 migration into africa, which is simpler than out-of-africa which has 4 migrations into eurasia
>but we still originally come from africa
and? most of our evolution could have occurred in eurasia
out-of-africa says our lineage was always in africa until ~50,000 years ago

great apes were migrating and hybridizing millions of years before humans. that's why orangutans are in fucking borneo. so of course it's not some straight line thing.
the only hard line to draw is that there was a chromosome fusion which separated 46 and 48 chromosome species

I'm already skeptical by their method of extrapolating the hominid's morphology, habitat, and diet based on a single tooth.

It only seems this way because the rest of our genus went extinct. You should be asking why humans came out on top, and why all the other intelligent homonids vanished.
