if you can understand you can judge for yourself, unfortunately it makes extensive use of category theory and esoteric topological manifolds and the morphisms between them so i'm not sure you will get it

No gravity is literally geometry, that is General Relativity.

The tensor field representing gravity is the (pseudo-)Riemannian metric on a (pseudo-)Riemannian manifold.

String theory does not do away with this.
