Math is just a bunch of made up rules that autists with too much free time created, then somehow convinced the world that you're somehow retarded if you don't know these bizarre concepts. Watch this here are some rules I created

ass = 5 but cunt = 5 when ass is cunt but only when cock is 2465 in your asshole with the exception of shit in your mouth at 45 degrees. How many cums is in you?

See how it's just retarded gibberish but I can make up a bunch of random shit to "logically" make sense and "prove" it? Oh and if you don't know how to solve the problem I gave you and don't understand my rules then "HURR DURR YOU'RE JUST A LOW IQ RETARD LOOOOL" math just literally trains you to be an npc that follows rules without question

The way you describe, you are indeed an NPC. The high IQ part is proofs, ie you need to think for yourself instead of being told what to do by your teacher/professor/supervisor.

proofs rely on a set of axioms agreed upon by the autists

Yes. And you need a brain to derive anything from these. It’s fun if you have one.

The difference between math and your dumb example is that mathematical concepts are chosen based on a correspondence to reality. Whereas your example is just meaningless rambling.
You can just as easily define axioms and rules that have no correspondence to reality. You can even study those and develop an entire system based off them. People don't do that because there's no point, you can't learn anything about reality based off it

kek I'm sure p-adic numbers exist in reality...

Explain pic rel to me under 3 sentences in a way I'd be confident in at deriving any of these ever her it be in the math form like the ones in the table or any form that's intuitive to understand.

That just so happens to predict nature and is the foundation, the only foundation, of all physical sciences.
Either you use math, or you can go ask /x/ for divinations. Your choice.

No anon, nobody ever said this. However since mathematics has been so useful in describing reality, people have naturally come to that conclusion on their own.

Most numbers on your computer are truncated 2-adic integers.

Coming up with p-adic numbers is a natural result of studying the rational numbers and trying to fill in the gaps (i.e. completion).

Every completion of the rational numbers Q is either the p-adics Q_p for some p or the reals R.

Then the reason you study them is because they can tell you things about Q.

If you know something is true over Q_p for every p, and over R, then it is probably true over Q as well.

Yes

Just people use it for any sorts of problems, even astrology does use it. If you can't do math, you're retarded to other people, cause everybody can do math on some level.

Your example is so dumb that it's trolling, lol.

What do any of these have to do with reality? Do I see them in nature? Can I measure something using a p-addic number?

I literally just explained it to you.

p-adic numbers are used for studying rational numbers.

In the case of computers, yes you could literally build a register circuit on a breadboard and induce a 2-adic (a.k.a. binary) integer via exposing the circuit to a voltage. You can literally measure the source voltage of each transistor in the register on the breadboard and as a result measure your integer. It's how analog to digital converters and computer arithmetic/memory operations work.

Complete and utter failure of understanding the role of math. Math is just a tool to model something and draw inferences. It doesn't predict anything on its own.

But it is a useful tool to mesure

Yes it's exploitable I'm not denying that.

But it's most exploited in probability or statistical theory.

You can't exploit a definite outcome. Like 1+1. Or speed or size. Because those are tethered to material reality.

You pretentious faggots sound as if you got an alternative to math to do your sciences.
The only other substitute on the epistemological market is an /x/ mystic channelling answers directly from the Creator.
So unless you want to go that route, I'd suggest you kids tone it down a notch mmmkay?

You act is if I'm personally against math. I am not. I am taking the middle road and agreeing with both sides.

Yes it's exploitable.

And yes it has very applicable use for alot of things.

Two things can be true at once
