Is there any evidence or theory that the big bang is local to our part of the universe . I know about the red shifting of galaxies and the uniformity of the cosmic background radiation(once you take away the dipole term from our motion). But for some reason I have a sneaking suspicion that it might be local to our cluster of galaxies and that different conditions exist in deep deep space.
