I heard that it has something to do with stress or testosterone during pregnancy
Have there been any studies into this?

From personal observations, I've come to a hypothesis of my own, which I'm sure many others have considered. I call it the 'uncanny valley of testosterone', where homosexual affinity paradoxically increases with testosterone levels. This is seen in autism, which is correlated with both higher in-utero testosterone and LGBT rates, and general sexual deviancy.
My hypothesis is that excess testosterone at a young age results in sexual hypersensitivity to stimuli which sometimes gets interpreted as a sexual attraction towards the same sex, this also explains autistic sexual obsessions.

adding to this, prenatal thyroid theory of gender dysphoria/homosexuality also supports the stress argument and has also (possibly, I don't exactly know) been shown to "cause" asperger's/autism
(personally, i can definitely relate to this hypothesis but the effect of bias on that is up to you)
