๐Ÿงต Top tier recent math book releases

Anonymous No. 16448088

What are some top tier undergraduate/graduate level math books that have been released recently (last 2-3 years)?

Absolutely everything written by Pierre Bremaud is fucking gold, but his recent Introduction to Applied Probability is genuinely fantastic.

The only thing I don't like about it is it isn't free with most university email addresses like his Graduate level probability and Fourier analysis books in the UTX series.

This covers looks like political propaganda shit. Fuck that. Are you sure the KGB skyline was not shopped in? So cringe.

>>16448223
not propaganda, they just want to brag about having a better approach at lecturing. if you look at russian uni books, they put themselves above english versions, even though they teach about the same things.

Lol, I wish. I've been trapped in this hell since like 2007. I just don't understand what you are implying aside from a dumb word association with a decades old le epic troll face meme.

After internetarchive debacle i don't see why anyone could still laugh at digital hoarders. The great censorship is upon us. Those who archive and store are going to be the nobles and priests of the rapidly approaching new era.

Yes. It scares me sometimes. I've bounced around from different boards as my interests changed over time, but I've been here in some capacity for almost 20 years.

How do I get into modern maths as a retarded physicist and cooode monkey? I know lots of undergrad-level shit, some pdes, entry-level algebra (groups, representations, a little galoise etc), random bits of other areas, but that's where it ends.

Spivak Calculus and get the key to Spivak Calculus which has the rest of the answers. Maths is a huge field and you will never learn it all and why would you bother. If you can get through Spivak then if you encounter new maths/maths you need to know then you will be better able to comprehend it because you are better able to speak the language. That's about all you can hope for. After that learn whatever you need to know for professional purposes.

I did. That nigger said 'modern maths'. Spivak is modern mathematics. The OP said 'last 2-3 years'. The poster I am replying to is either not the OP or there is no way to tell that he is the OP as he has phrased a different question. Nigger work on your comprehension.
