>AI can’t actually magically become intelligent as humans without massive compute and tons of quality training data
>we can’t actually travel through space, let alone colonize Mars
>genetic engineering will never be greenlit for ethical reasons, and even if it were, it would still take tens of thousands of years for humans to meaningfully evolve beyond our current state
>humans aren’t evolving since the gene pool is so diverse that new beneficial mutations for intelligence are eliminated within a few generations because monogamy and inceldom don’t propagate the genes sufficiently enough
>our particle accelerators will never be big enough, we will never understand black holes or dark matter or even gravity
it’s over..

There is still one technology that seems promising: uploading human minds into computers and downloading them into robot bodies.
I have been following this tech and it is has made significant advances from the early 2000s. The leading research group expects to be able to upload earthworm minds into data by as early as 2028.

I'm about 80% sure govt/military alredy have AI's at human or higher than human level
probably much more optimized than public models too

Do you really think China for instance shares the same ethical standards as the US, let alone the EU?

somewhat but its just creating shit load of biases in the network so it outputs better queries

we're giving it massive compute and training data. quality? no, who cares, let it make its own data

>>AI can’t actually magically become intelligent as humans
Humans didn't become intelligent through magic either, it also took them a lot of training and analyzing.

>uploading human minds into computers and downloading them into robot bodies.
How is that any different than AI trained on text output from human minds and put into an alexa-like program in charge of controlling a robot body?

Except you have clearly put your faith in some demon, otherwise you would have facts instead of faith, so there is no way you can go through with exterminating all the demons since you clearly depend on putting your faith into them in exchange for hope.
