>Plants require electrons to photosynthesize and grow
>We eat plants to survive
>Data centers require electrons to store data long term
>Data centers effectively lock electrons away permanently
>AI requires massive data centers to function. This requires taking a mind boggling amount of electrons out of the natural circulation cycle of the earth
>There is only a finite amount of electrons on planet earth to go around
>Food vs AI
I cannot be the only person in the world that has foreseen this right?
I am not that smart. Just a mediocre pleb. Why have I not hear a peep about this worrisome scenario from high academic circle of the brainiac scientists?

Read it again, sparky.
It says it requires the movement of electrons, not the electrons itself.
A data centre; or any other electronics for that matter; doesn't use up electrons any more than a water mill "uses up" water in a river.

Another schizo babble post.
Why do schizos come here to post their light bulb ideas without learning science and physics first?

it's ok anon we can calculate the time remaining with a simple mathematical formula (guessing) and we have about 99799999999 years before running out of electrons becomes a problem.
Please contact me if you derive a better formula!

In order to store bits of data you have to permanently lock electrons in place. Thus taking them completely out of circulation.

Oh my god OP, you're right. You know what's even worse? My HOUSE is made of atoms. And those atoms contain...electrons. FAR more in fact than the sum of all the electrons used for storing all the data in the world. I'm shaking right now, this isn't right. Oh god, even the computer I type on is made of atoms. I have to log off forever, and you should too!

How do I capture it so we can recycle boys?

don't worry schizobro, even if we will have whole planet covered in AI data centers we still won't run out of electrons on our planet
