๐งต How do I know if I have appendicitis?
Anonymous at Mon, 28 Oct 2024 02:09:36 UTC No. 16453105
Any medfags that can help me out here? I've been feeling a slight tinge of pain on my right flank ever since Saturday. It's very mild, it comes and goes, sometimes it radiates to the back and causes some sort of back pain.
Yesterday it was almost gone, but today it has returned a bit stronger. Still, very mild. I've also had some diahrrea... but none of the other symptoms of appendicitis. No fever, no chills, I have my normal appetite, the pain is really mild, should I be rushing to the ER? What else could it be? Just a strained muscle maybe?
It's Sunday night kinda late, I don't want to rush to the ER for a fucking strained muscle... BUT... if it's appendicities I probably should. I don't know if I'm being paranoid. Is there a way to be sure?

If I touch the area I feel a bit of pain, don't know if this helps.

My gut instinct is to say you're probably not drinking enough water, but if this is you: >>16453110
You should probably go to the Doctor. That's three too many coincidences too many.
I also *explicitly* say that because "side pain that turns into back pain" is a tell-tale symptom of some kind of kidney, liver, appendix, problem - something is going wrong down there. Especially if you can touch it and feel pain.

Yes. I had a similar case, felt like mild bloating that wouldn't go away. Bit of dizzyness whenever I stood. Took an X-ray, they said it was grossly swollen and starting to perforate.
Definitely go to urgent care, ASAP.
