Yes. I am convinced that population size, technology, and productivity are mutually controlling in such a way that overpopulation cannot occur barring intentional exerted effort society wide and human population will naturally tend towards a manageable steady state (or at least a manageable cycle)

A population decline doesnt happen at the same time that the birth rate declines, the whole population continues to exist and just gets older with time, but with less young people coming up the vagina pipelines. Then megadeath starts, huge death rate when the average age gets old enough
